Good to know in London Fields
Victorian terraces and flats surround the park; a two-bed off Richmond Road is a straightforward two-hour clean.
Around London Fields that means Broadway Market, London Fields Lido, Mare Street, Richmond Road, Mentmore Terrace and Haggerston side — and anywhere nearby.
Cleaning in London Fields
A swim at London Fields Lido leaves damp towels by the end of the week. Laundry can go on your list in the account, done within your usual time or added as extra.
A small conversion flat sits at our shortest visit: a one-bed with one bathroom comes out at two hours in our quote, with the kitchen and bathroom done each time.
With a whole terrace on a fortnightly plan, choose the rooms that matter in your account — usually the kitchen, bathroom and living room — so spare rooms don't eat into the visit.
Questions from London Fields
Our terrace has its original floorboards — what will my cleaner use on them?
Whatever you leave out. Your cleaner uses your own products and equipment, so pick the floor cleaner you trust and keep it with the mop.
What does a regular clean cover?
A visit works through the kitchen, bathroom, living space and bedrooms: dusting, wiping down, vacuuming, mopping and emptying bins. The oven and any carpet cleaning sit outside it.

Common questions
How much does a clean cost?
You pay an hourly rate, and your price depends on the size of your home and how often you'd like a clean. Our instant-quote tool gives you an exact price in about a minute, with no card and no account needed. There are no sign-up fees and no hidden extras.
How are your cleaners vetted?
Every cleaner is ID-verified, DBS-checked, reference-checked and interviewed before their first booking. We only accept people with previous professional cleaning experience.
Can I have the same cleaner every time?
Yes, that's the default. We match you with a local cleaner on your first visit, and they stay with you unless you tell us otherwise. Consistency is the whole point.
Do I need to provide the cleaning products?
Yes, and the equipment too. Your cleaner uses your own products, vacuum, mop and cloths, so you stay in control of what's used in your home and you know what's being used in your home has only been used in your home.
Do I need to be home?
No, plenty of customers aren't. You arrange access directly with your cleaner. Poppins never holds keys or stores entry or alarm codes.
What if I need to cancel a clean?
Skip any visit with 48 hours' notice and there's no fee. With less notice, 50% of the clean is charged, and 100% within 24 hours. Either way it goes to your cleaner for the time they'd set aside.
